Mason sitting in the control room at The Groove Studio with his brand new Taylor 414 CE preparing to begin laying down some tracks on his new song “Gem”.
Another Groove Studio student, the amazing guitarist, Andrew O’Hare has been accepted to Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has also been accepted into Belmont, Villanova, Loyola, and College of Charleston. One of the most talented musicians to come out of the studio, Andrew will continue his musical training at one the most prestigious universities in the world, following in the footsteps of John Mayer, Joe Walsh, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and my personal favorite, Donald Fagen of Steely Dan. Congratulations Andrew! What an amazing future he has in front of him.
It’s true, The Groove Studio’s very own Sydney Liberman is heading to Boston to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music in the fall. This music wunderkind had her pick of the litter as she was accepted into every major music college she applied to. Having Sydney in the studio all these years has been our good fortune.
A great shot of Trace Segell jamming in The Groove Studio, taken by his biggest fan (his mom). This 10 year old is a legitimate triple threat. He can dance, sing and best of all, plays a mean guitar. Come hear Trace throw down on his version of “Beauty and the Beat” at our upcoming Rock-N-Roll Recital at Steve’s Live Music, May 22nd.
